These are self-hold stockings so you don't need to wear a suspender belt. They have an adhesive strip around the top of each hold up that, while it isn't sticky, is still strong enough to hold to the thigh. A trick you must adhere to when wearing hold-ups is never moisturise where the hold-up holds the thigh. Moisturiser causes the adhesive not to work and you'll find the hold-up around your knees!
Suspenders
Suspender belts are a bit of a minefield - they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. For years department stores and lingerie photo shoots showed women wearing suspenders incorrectly, i.e. the suspender belt worn over briefs. This is utterly ridiculous if you thing about it for a minute, and if you're new to stockings and suspenders please don't follow suit. Often suspender belts with more than three hooks are the most comfortable and stay in place all day, plus they can add as a mini girdle.
Stockings
Lace top stockings are the easiest to attach to suspenders, yet it is important to consider the depth of the lace on the stocking as at times they can be very deep indeed and if you are wearing a dress or skirt above the knee the lace can be visible when sitting crossed legged or even walking.
You can get opaque, fishnet, back-seamed or delicate finer stockings with a variety of tops so all your fashion needs are catered for. The best stockings, however, are obviously silk stockings. In fact, scratch that. Actually the best lingerie full stop is silk: there's something elegantly decadent about wearing silk stockings - pure refinement.
